IOC increases Olympic Solidarity fund by 16 per cent overall and by 25 per cent for direct athlete support programmes
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) today agreed to increase the budget of Olympic Solidarity for the period 2021 to 2024 by 16 per cent. The budget for 2021-2024 will now total USD 590 million. With this decision, the IOC will further strengthen its support to athletes, National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and Continental Associations of NOCs.

IOC Executive Board and Athletes’ Commission discuss COVID-19 countermeasures for Tokyo 2020 during annual joint meeting
The Executive Board (EB) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the IOC Athletes’ Commission (AC) today held a virtual joint meeting to discuss various topics, including the athlete experience and COVID-19 countermeasures at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Organisers make progress in developing Olympic Games fit for a post-corona world
Following a virtual meeting today, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) acknowledged the continued progress being made towards all forthcoming Olympic Games, as local Organising Committees continue to develop Games fit for a post-corona world.
