17 June 2019. Tokyo 2020 today revealed details of the Tokyo 2020 Flower Lane project. This project engages schoolchildren in prefectures that are hosting Olympic and Paralympic events in the planting of seeds to grow flowers that will be used in place of traditional partitions to create attractive natural barriers at pedestrian screening areas in front of venues.
