The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020) today announced changes to the Olympic triathlon competition schedule. The start time of the men’s and women’s individual competition will move up from 7:30 to 6:30 and the mixed team relay start time will move up from 8:30 to 7:30. A change in the start time of equestrian eventing (cross-country) from 8:30 to between 7:30 and 8:00 has also been approved at the IOC Executive Board meeting.
